For decades, Orthotic & Prosthetic Lab has helped families throughout St. Louis, Southern Illinois, and beyond, find personalized solutions for their children's orthotic needs. Our pediatric cranial remolding program is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care for infants diagnosed with plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and other head shape asymmetries.

We understand that learning your baby may need a cranial remolding helmet can feel overwhelming!

Our experienced team is committed to guiding families through every step of the process—from the initial evaluation and 3D scanning to helmet fitting, follow-up appointments, and successful completion of treatment.

Using advanced digital scanning technology, we create custom cranial remolding orthoses designed specifically for your child's unique anatomy and treatment goals. Our patient-centered approach ensures that each family receives individualized care, education, and support throughout the journey.

About Our Cranial Remolding Program

A smiling baby sitting on the ground with two pumpkins behind him, wearing a helmet labeled "Wylie" and a shirt that says "Helmet hair I don't care."

Our pediatric specialists have extensive experience working with infants and their families. We collaborate closely with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure every child receives the most appropriate care plan.

Regular follow-up visits allow us to monitor growth, make necessary adjustments, and track progress as your baby's head shape develops. Because infants grow rapidly, our team focuses on providing timely, responsive care that helps achieve the best possible outcomes.

Specialized Pediatric Expertise

Orthotic & Prosthetic Lab is an independent, locally owned practice that is not affiliated with any single hospital or healthcare system. While several of our clinics are conveniently located within medical office buildings, we work collaboratively with physicians and specialists across all major healthcare systems throughout the St. Louis region.

Our cranial care team partners closely with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure your child receives coordinated, comprehensive care. Whether your child is referred by a physician or you're seeking an evaluation on your own, we'll communicate with your healthcare team to develop the treatment plan that's right for your family.

Our priority is simple: providing expert, patient-centered cranial care—regardless of where your child receives the rest of their medical care.

We are committed to helping infants achieve healthy head shape development through evidence-based cranial remolding treatment. By combining compassionate care, advanced technology, and specialized pediatric expertise, we strive to give families confidence and peace of mind throughout the treatment process.

Our goal is not only to provide an effective cranial remolding helmet, but also to support parents with the education, guidance, and encouragement they need every step of the way.
